Common Questions
Point drain or linear grate? — Point drain bases (Seba, Neptune, Orthello, Southern Crest) are more cost-effective. Linear grate bases (Belladonna, Zenith, Clairmont, Urban) offer a modern look. Both are CodeMark Certified and factory waterproofed.
Orthello or Southern Crest? — Orthello for centrally located plumbing. Southern Crest when plumbing runs along one wall.
Clairmont or Urban? — Clairmont runs the grate along the long side, Urban across the short end. Choose based on where you want the drain relative to the shower entry.
When to use NP140 instead of SLR2000? — SLR2000 for standard undertile waterproofing. NP140 for damp substrates, pools, or retaining walls — no primer needed.
