Flowcrete Copper Tape
Flowcrete Copper Tape (CSCP30) is a self-adhesive conductive copper foil tape used to form the electrical earthing grid in Flowcrete electrostatic dissipative (ESD) resin flooring systems. Applied directly onto the cured conductive primer, it provides electrical continuity across the floor area and connects the finished resin floor to a confirmed earth point.
Application
The copper tape is laid in a grid pattern beneath Flowcrete anti-static/ESD resin flooring systems — including Flowshield ESD SL, Flowcoat ESD BVG, Flowfresh ESD SL, and Peran ESD SL. The standard Flowcrete installation method is:
- Apply the first strip of tape a maximum of 1 metre in from the perimeter of the application area.
- Lay further strips at 3 metre intervals across the floor to form a grid.
- Pay special attention to tape runs crossing expansion or bay joints to ensure permanent electrical continuity.
- Bond the tape network to a confirmed earth point.
