Deckshield UV is a light non-slip, high-performance, UV-stable, two-pack polyurethane sealer, available in clear or standard colours. Typically used as a UV-stable seal coat applied to concrete or Flowcrete's epoxy and polyurethane resin flooring systems.

Speed of Cure
- Foot Traffic: 48 h @ 10°C / 24 h @ 20°C / 18 h @ 30°C
- Vehicular Traffic: 96 h @ 10°C / 72 h @ 20°C / 48 h @ 30°C
- Full Chemical Cure: 12 d @ 10°C / 7 d @ 20°C / 6 d @ 30°C
Coverage
- First coat: 0.15 kg/m² (Flowseal / Deckshield UV)
- Aggregate broadcast: 0.01 kg/m² (60 Mesh White Aluminium Oxide)
- Second coat: 0.15 kg/m²
Mixing & Application
- Supplied as A+B packs — pre-weighed for optimum performance.
- Stir Base A to re-disperse settlement; add Pigment if supplied separately and mix until uniform.
- Add Hardener B to Base A container; mix with slow-speed drill and helical spinner head for 90 seconds.
- Pot life: 20 minutes at 20°C.
- Apply by 10–12mm nap roller (do not use microfibre).
- Tools cleaned with MEK / Acetone / Xylene.
Substrate Requirements
Concrete or screed substrate must be a minimum 25 N/mm², free from laitance, dust and other contamination, dry to 75% RH (ASTM F2170 / AS1884:2012). Slab on ground must have an effective damp proof membrane.
Storage
12 months in unopened packs. Store between 5°C and 35°C, inside, protected from frost, weather, moisture, direct sunlight and contamination.
