Flowcrete Flowfast 407 VR 20kg MMA Reactive Diluent - Made To Order
Flowcrete Flowfast 407 VR 20kg MMA Reactive Diluent - Made To Order
Flowfast 407 VR is a milky/cloudy, colourless liquid based on methyl methacrylate (MMA). It is supplied as a reactive diluent used to reduce the viscosity of Flowfast flooring and Deckshield Rapide resins.
Uses
Flowfast 407 VR is added to the Flowfast / Deckshield Rapide resin in a maximum proportion of 10% by weight of resin. The use of Flowfast 407 VR does not cause any loss in cure or quality of the Flowfast / Deckshield Rapide Primers and Sealers; it only reduces the viscosity of the resin.
Features & Benefits
- Processing aid for MMA resin systems
- Reactive diluent for MMA Primers and Sealers
- Reduces viscosity without compromising cure or final film quality
- Low VOC (<140 g/L) — complies with Green Building Council of Australia Green Star requirements

Cleaning
Tools and equipment can be cleaned with Flowfast 405 Cleaner or solvents (MEK / Acetone) immediately after application. Cured remains can only be removed by mechanical means. Refer to the SDS when using solvents.
Application Notes
- For mixing details, refer to the TDS of the Flowfast / Deckshield Rapide product being thinned
- Apply only when substrate temperature is at least 3 °C above the dew point
- Do not apply to substrates exceeding 30 °C — direct heat may cause flash curing and potential delamination
- Wind or strong airflow may cause quick curing; eliminate during application
- The product emits a discernible odour during application — provide forced ventilation in closed rooms
Environment & Health
Follow the appropriate Occupational Health and Safety guidelines applicable to the location where the application is undertaken. The Safety Data Sheet must be read and understood before use. Refer to the SDS for the individual components for full handling guidance.
