Flowfresh Primer

Flowfresh Primer is a 3-component, water-based polyurethane primer for concrete and cementitious substrates. It will bond to surface-dry substrates that have a relative humidity of up to 97% (to BS 8204 / ASTM F2170 / AS1884:2012).

Uses

For priming concrete and screeds prior to overcoating with the Flowfresh or Flowcrete ranges of polyurethane concrete toppings. Flowfresh Primer is particularly suited to areas where high heat resistance is essential.

• Solid Content: Approximately 90%

Curing Times (at 20°C)

• Foot Traffic: 10 hours
• Minimum Overcoating: 15 hours
• Maximum Overcoating: 24 hours
• Full Chemical Cure: 7 days
• Fully Hardened: 57 days

Note: Do not cover or wash within the first 16 hours of curing. Relative humidity maximum 70%, good ventilation required.

Application

• Method: Squeegee and/or roller application
• Application Temperature: 15–35°C (minimum 10°C)
• Pot Life: 10 minutes at 20°C
• Porous Floors: A second coat is required; allow first coat to become tack-free before applying.

Substrate temperature must exceed dew point by 3°C during application and hardening. Temperatures must not fall below 5°C in the 24 hours after application.

Packaging

The product is supplied in full units as A+B+C+Pigment.

Storage & Shelf Life

• Storage Temperature: Between 5°C and 35°C; protect from frost
• Components A+B: 12 months in unopened pack
• Component C: 6 months in unopened pack
