38FC SBR Fast Cure Membrane	Gripset's #1 seller. Fibre-reinforced SBR for bathrooms, showers and wet areas. Recoat 1 hour, tile over 4 hours.
GP Primer	Standard primer for porous substrates — concrete, render, masonry. Apply before any Gripset membrane.
OP Non Porous Primer	Primer for non-porous surfaces — existing tiles, steel, plastic. Use when waterproofing over tiles.
E60 Water Based Epoxy Primer	Two-component epoxy for damp or green concrete. Also acts as a rising damp barrier.
P39 Polyurethane Hybrid Membrane	UV-stable membrane for exposed external applications — balconies, podiums, roof gardens. Over 300% elongation.
51 Bituminous Membrane	Below-ground and external waterproofing — retaining walls, planter boxes, gutters. Not for tiling over.
C-1P & 2P Cementitious Membranes	Pools, tanks and potable water. 2P is AS 4020 approved for drinking water contact. C-1P is the simpler one-part option.

Common Questions

Which primer do I need? — GP for porous surfaces (concrete, render), OP for non-porous (tiles, steel), E60 for damp or green concrete. When in doubt, GP is the standard choice.

How long before I can tile over 38FC? — Recoat after 1 hour, tile over after 4 hours. Allow 24 hours before flood testing.

38FC or P39 — which one? — 38FC is the cost-effective choice for internal wet areas under tiles. P39 is for exposed external applications needing UV and weather resistance.

Can I waterproof over existing tiles? — Yes. Use OP Primer to bond to the tile surface, then apply 38FC as normal.

What about swimming pools? — Use the 2P cementitious membrane, which is AS 4020 approved for potable water. 38FC is for wet areas, not immersion.
