Description
Polymer 265 is a co-polymer acrylic emulsion with excellent plasticiser resistance and non-staining properties. It is protected against bio-degradation, withstands normal wet cleaning practices, and is suitable for use over underfloor heating installations.
Applications
For Bonding: Plasticised vinyl floor and wall coverings, and PVC-backed carpets. Polymer 265 is suitable for bonding most commercial and domestic vinyl sheeting products, including both homogenous and foam-backed types.
To Subfloors: Sound, smooth, dry subfloors of concrete; conventional sand/cement screeds or underlayment; plywood; hardboard or cement sheet underlays.
Other surfaces—such as asphalt, granolithic, terrazzo, quarry tiles, and concrete surfaces treated with waterproof membranes or some curing agents—should be skimmed with a minimum of 3mm of a proprietary cementitious underlayment according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
