RLA Ultragrip Construction Adhesive
Ultragrip Construction Adhesive is a versatile, synthetic rubber based mastic adhesive that can be used for interiors and exterior application.
It has a degree of flexibility, is water resistant and can be paintable. Ultragrip ages extremely well when used in typical applications and conforms to AS 2329.
Ultragrip Construction Adhesive will bond successfully to a wide range of commonly used building materials such as brick, concrete, timber, metals. It is used for the installation of wall and floor panels, bonding timber, cement and plaster sheets to timber and metal joists or studs. Ultragrip can be applied to green timbers or timbers that are damp and is Polystyrene Safe.

Application
Wet Stick Method
Use this procedure if one component is porous. Bring both surfaces together. Fix the sheet or board firmly until solvent loss of adhesive is complete, i.e., 24 to 48 hours. Fix floor or wall sheeting by the manufacturer's instructions.
Dry Stick Method
Bring both surfaces together firmly after applying the adhesive. Slide slightly to ensure good transfer of adhesive. Separate and allow the adhesive to dry for 10 to 30 minutes. Bring both surfaces together in correct alignment and avoid further movement. Apply pressure.

Surface Preparation
All surfaces should be clean, dry, and free from any dust or grease. Clean any contaminated surfaces with a wire brush. Any painted surface should be sanded for the length of studs or joists. Where applied to flat sheets, space beads 200-400mm apart. Fix one panel at a time.
