Sika Australia was founded in 1976 as a member of the Sika Group of companies. Initially, Sika Australia was mainly a trading company sourcing finished products from sister companies overseas and marketing them throughout Australia. In the early days, a few products were already manufactured in Australia, such as Rugasol, as well as some concrete and mortar additives.
