Information ARDEX K 65
ARDEX K 65 is an advanced fibre reinforced smoothing and levelling compound for internal use, featuring MICROTEC technology that is designed to rapidly smooth and level new and existing substrates prior to applying a floor finish. ARDEX K65 can be applied to timber substrates and can normally be walked on after approximately 2 hours at 23°C.

Technical Data ARDEX K 65
Location:â €Internal
Thickness/weight:⠀From 3.0 – 20mm in one application without aggregate. For areas requiring a thickness over 20mm to a maximum of 50mm onto sand/cement engineered screeds or concrete, ARDEX K 65 must be mixed with a well washed and dried 2 – 5mm aggregate.
Coverage:â €Approximately 1.4kg of ARDEX K 65 powder/m2/mm, e.g. one bag will cover approximately 4.5m2 at 3mm thickness.
Drying Times:⠀Drying time is dependent on jobsite temperature, humidity, installation thickness and floor covering type. (Based on 23°C and 50% RH.) Walkable from 2-3 hours. Conventionally laid carpet and floating floors can be installed after 24 hours. Direct stick applications such as vinyl flooring after 48 hours.
