Flowfast 215 Flexible Binder is a 2-component reactive flexible methyl methacrylate (MMA) modified resin. It is a polyurethane-modified resin based on acrylic monomers and polymers, designed as an elastified binder for the formulation of flexible membranes and flexible, wear-resistant coatings exposed to sub-zero temperatures.
Uses
- Wearing and protective coats over Flowcrete MMA waterproof membranes
- Flexible floor coverings exposed to low temperatures (coolers, freezers)
- Wearing layer for outdoor applications with heavy mechanical loadings and rapid temperature variations — ramps, bridges, car parks
- Intermediate coat for floors exposed to hot water
- Component of Deckshield ED Rapide car park waterproofing systems

Curing Times (at 20°C)
- Minimum overcoating: 1 hour
- Foot traffic: 1 hour
- Vehicular traffic: 2–3 hours
- Full chemical cure: 2–3 days
Application
Flowfast 215 Flexible Binder is mixed with Flowfast Catalyst Peroxan BPPLvr (50% dibenzoyl peroxide). Catalyst addition rate depends on application temperature: 1.0% at 30°C, 1.5% at 20°C, 3.0% at 10°C, 4.0% at 0°C, 5.0% at -5°C. Pot life is approximately 15 minutes at 20°C. Application temperature range: 0°C to +35°C.
Storage
12 months shelf life in unopened packs. Store between 15°C and 20°C, indoors, protected from frost, weather, moisture, direct sunlight and contamination.
