Product Information
328 adhesive is a high strength, contractor grade cementitious thin-set adhesive for installing low absorption ceramic tile, porcelain tile and natural stone using the thin-set method of installation. Suitable for interior and exterior wall and floor installations.
When tested in accordance with AS ISO 13007.1 & .2, 328 is classified as C2TES1.
- Packaging: 20kg bag; 56 bags per pallet
- Colours: Grey and White
- Shelf life: one (1) year in factory sealed bags stored off the ground in a dry area
Suitable Substrates
- Concrete and brick masonry
- Cement mortar beds
- Cement plaster
- Suitable waterproof membranes
- Cement terrazzo
- Gypsum wall board (interior use only)
- Cement backer board (consult board manufacturer for installation recommendations and exterior-use acceptability)
Coverage & Mixing
Approximate coverage per 20kg bag: 7.2-7.7m² with a 6mm x 6mm notched trowel; 4.3-4.8m² with a 10mm x 10mm notched trowel; 3.5-4m² with a 12mm x 12mm notched trowel.
Mix with approximately 5.2-6.0 litres of potable water per 20kg bag. Add powder to water, mix to a smooth trowelable consistency, slake 5-10 minutes, then remix.
Open time 30 minutes; pot life 4 hours; light foot traffic and grouting after 24 hours at 21°C.
Note: Not suitable for immersed installations. Use white adhesive under white or light-coloured marble and stone.
