PRODUCT

Sure Flex 3000 HD is a rigid set, quality cement-based adhesive that meets and exceeds the requirements of Australian Standard AS 4992.1. Sure Flex 3000 HD is classified as a Normal Setting High Performance (C2) adhesive. Sure Flex 3000 HD is ideal for interior or exterior bonding of all types of ceramic, porcelain or stone wall and floor tiles applied in bathrooms, toilets, kitchens, and laundries.

DESCRIPTION

Sure Flex 3000 HD is a white or grey powder composed of graded silica sand cement and synthetic resins and property enhancing additives.

RECOMMENDED USES

• Monocottura, slate, quarry tiles, terracotta, porcelain and natural stone bonded to concrete.
• Cementitious screeds.
• Brick work, block work, fibrous cement sheeting and where the surfaces are rigid and may or may not exhibit some surface texture and porosity.
• Suitable for bonding tiles subject to water immersion after the adhesive is fully cured and where stresses may be encountered, such as under floor heating installations.
• Suitable for thick or thin bed tile installation.

LIMITATIONS

Sure Flex 3000 HD should not be used where or for: -

• Swimming pools without prior consultation with Sure Level.
• The substrate is subject to movement.
• Where the substrate can be affected by strong vibration.
• On plaster or metals that will rust or oxidise or timber, where natural oils interfere with adhesion.
• Painted Surfaces.

COVERAGE

Coverage will depend on the substrate conditions and applicators technique. As a guide the use of a 6mm notched trowel for walls and a 10mm notched trowel for floors will provide approximately 8m2 and 5m2 respectively for 20 kg of Sure Flex 3000 HD.
