Single-Side Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Sealed Tape
TREMproof FBM Plus Cover Tape is a specially engineered pressure sensitive tape designed for use with the TREMproof FBM Plus membrane to form a robust waterproofing system. Featuring a multilayered design, the tape combines an aggressive adhesive on the bottom for strong bonding with TREMproof FBM Plus membrane and a weather-resistant top layer with a removable release liner. Its protective white coating allows concrete to be cast directly against it, ensuring flawless integration during construction. Together, these features create a continuous, integral seal that eliminates weak points, safeguards against water ingress and extends the structure's lifespan.
Usage/Purpose
TREMproof FBM Cover Tape is used for the sealing of overlapping edges and minor membrane repairs for the TREMproof FBM Plus membrane.
Installation
- Use a marking pen to identify the reinforced sealing areas, then remove any loose particles from the sheet surface with a metal brush.
- Cut the adhesive tape to the appropriate length, shape it into a round or oval form and apply it to the reinforced repair area.
- Apply pressure to the tape using a hand pressure roller while removing the release liner to ensure reliable bonding.

Limitations
- Do not apply at temperatures below 5°C — reduced adhesion may occur at lower temperatures.
- Substrate must be clean, dry and free from dust, laitance, oil, grease or other contaminants that may affect adhesion.
- Adequate pressure must be applied to ensure full contact and adhesion of the tape to the substrate.
- Application to damp, wet or contaminated surfaces may result in reduced bond performance.
- Product is designed for use as part of the TREMproof FBM Plus system and should be used in accordance with system installation guidelines.
Storage & Shelf Life
Shelf life 12 months. Store in a well-ventilated and dry location. Storage temperature should be below 45°C and kept away from direct sunlight, rain and high temperature. Avoid contact with acids, alkali, oils and organic solvents.
