Bond and seal in one step
wedi 610 is a low-VOC (<1%), one-component modified silane (MS polymer) adhesive sealant that cures on contact with moisture to form strong, flexible, tenacious bonds on a wide range of surfaces. It is purpose-formulated to connect and seal wedi building boards, Fundo shower elements and accessories, creating permanently watertight joints, seams and penetrations — for example a tap or shower-valve cut-out in a waterproof wedi wall — without the need for sealing tape and thin-bed mortar.
Because wedi 610 bonds directly to the substrate, it seals more reliably than traditional tape-and-mortar systems, where water can migrate beneath tape embedded in thin-set. With up to 220% elongation it absorbs stress from shock, vibration and thermal movement while maintaining its seal.

Please note
No sealant, tape or membrane can accommodate movement beyond what the tiled surface itself tolerates (per ANSI A118.12, up to 2 mm). Install tile and underlayment only over structurally sound, code-compliant and acclimatised substrates.
