Stellmann Aqualine PU PRO Traffic Red RAL 3020 – P5 12kg Kit

Stellmann Aqualine PU PRO is a coloured, water-based, dual-component polyurethane floor coating system for interior and exterior concrete. It offers outstanding mechanical and chemical resistance, is UV-resistant, and is used on industrial halls, factories, stairs, cellars, commercial kitchens, passageways and corridors — as well as on interior and exterior concrete walls.

The Traffic Red (RAL 3020) finish is suited to OHS floor marking — clearly defining safe walkways, zones and hazard areas in warehouses, factories, schools and public facilities.

This 12 kg kit is rated P5 under AS 4586.

⠀Technical Data

⠀Surface Preparation

• New concrete must cure for at least 28 days and be thoroughly dry (less than 3% building material moisture).
• The substrate must be structurally sound — compressive strength of at least 25 MPa and tensile strength of at least 1.5 N/mm². Repair all non-structural cracks and holes.
• Remove all loose material, dirt, oil, grease, old coatings, curing compounds, release agents and laitance by mechanical grinding, abrasive blasting, etching or another suitable method.
• The substrate must be sealed off from rising moisture. Apply a sample area in case of doubt.

⠀Application

• Stir Part A for 5 minutes, then mix Part A and Part B at 5 : 1 by weight — an electronic precision scale is mandatory.
• Prime coat: dilute the mixed coating with 15–20% water and apply. Apply the finish coat once dry, within 24 hours.
• Finish coat: dilute with 0–5% water, then mix in 2.0% of Stellmann Non-Slip P5 Particles by weight. Never add more than 3% — extra particles can reduce the slip rating.
• Apply evenly in sections with Stellmann PRO rollers, always finishing in the same direction. Do not roll back into curing areas.
• Do not apply a thick layer — a wet film above approx. 150 μm can cause CO₂ bubbles.

⠀Limitations

• Designed for concrete substrates. For tiles, use in combination with Stellmann Clear Primer; for any other substrate, contact Stellmann.
• Do not apply when rain threatens, or when relative humidity is (or is likely to go) above 80%.
• Not recommended for permanently immersed exposure, or where acid or alkali splash or spillage may occur.
